HELP INFORM FUTURE VISITOR ACCOMMODATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD REGION

Survey of Great Ocean Road region accommodation providers

As part of the Victorian Government’s Great Ocean Road Action Plan, the Great Ocean Road Management Reform team has engaged Deloitte Access Economics to conduct an assessment of the region’s existing visitor accommodation to better understanding current capacity as a local level.

The survey is seeking participation from accommodation providers across the full spectrum of visitor accommodation – from hotels to hostels, to campgrounds and to hosted/rented accommodation – if you have many rooms or just one room, the survey is for you! No financial information is requested – the focus is on understanding current capacity in the region, your busy and peak periods of demand, the kinds of guests that visit the region and your views on the future.

The survey is a key component of a study to support the development of a sustainable visitation management strategy as part of the Great Ocean Road Action Plan.

You may have already been sent the survey – if you have, we encourage you to complete it!

The project team along with those in the tourism and accommodation sector would be very grateful for your participation.

Thank you!
